GMC Hummer EV to come to market will feature a three-motor 4WD system. Some 1,000 hp will be on tap, as well as a claimed 11,500 lb-ft of torque, but electric torque is measured differently than mechanical torque. Regardless, a 0-60 mph time of just 3.0 seconds is estimated with the Watts to Freedom mode. Although we have yet to see EPA range figures, with the Tesla Cybertruck and Rivian R1T potentially able to travel over 400 miles on a charge, we'll see before long whether the GMC Hummer EV can come close to keep range anxiety out of the equation. GM is estimating more than 350 miles of range on a fully charged battery.
